Bally Sports and MSG RSN Are Reportedly Preparing For Bankruptcy

Could be good news as the case is made to preserve OTA..
I wonder if the OTA deals would go to adjacent cities as well ... such as the Tigers would eventually move to an OTA channel in Detroit, I wonder if it would also be available in Toledo (50 miles away) ... Or will I have to see if my Rotor still works and turn to Detroit .
We Do have the Lions on most every week, bouncing between the Lions and the Browns in Cleveland for what NFL considers Local for us.

Probably not unless/until this changes-

This is good news. I hope the Braves stay away, and join the MLB partnership. In market streaming would be wonderful. They likely will come out in about the same position, because their deal with the RSNs wasn't very lucrative to begin with. Main Street was actually making $$ off their Braves deal per published reports last year.

I entered 43601 and just like the map above, you are in CIN, CLE and DET market. If MLB takes over broadcasts for DET and CIN, you'd be able to pay to watch those. Looks like CLE is already using MLB to handle their broadcasts. Of course either of those 3 could also choose to broadcast over the air in your market, if I understand correctly.

I typically get the MLB.tv package so I can watch my Out Of market teams, and that has worked fine ... except when one of them are playing Cle, or Detroit .
It's like $150 for MLB.tv (last year)
The Indians were on a separate package that cost MORE than the MLB.TV package together ... why would they charge More for 1 team like that, do they not want any subs.

IIRC, the Indians were $99 for those games .... even if they were $99 for an indiviual team, you get ALL teams for $150.

Thats for EACH team, If I wanted to be able to see the Tigers/ Gardians and Reds, it would cost me $300 for those 3 teams, and 1/2 that for the other 27 or so teams ...

Hopefully with all the changes going on, lets hope they readjust thier pricing.

Do you have T-Mobile? MLB.tv is free with any TMO plan.
