Can somebody explain this? I'm watching the Cardinals/Arizona game. I'm on the Cardinals HD feed. The signal is definitely 720p. But the game is 4x3 with the black bars on the side. The news scrollbar at the bottom goes all the way across the screen when it pops up, as well as some HD commercials, so the channel is definitely HD. Is this an error by the broadcaster, or do they really think a 4x3 picture qualifies as HD?

Interesting. Thanks. I wonder why on Directv, the Fox feed would even be in HD (even though the game is SD), when all you get is some commercials and the Fox news scrollbar/ribbon in HD. I could care less about whether the commercials or scrollbar/ribbon are HD. Seems almost like false advertising somehow since it's listed as HD on the Directv site as well as the DVR guide, and is being shown partially in HD (everything except what matters, the game).
