BBC World News TV Channel

the bbc america one is edited for content ie sex and nudity etc.

Whoever that chick was who played Anne Boylen was really hot. I don't own a single porn DVD, but if she was the lead actress in one, I'd not only get it, I'd leave it in my DVD player all day and never leave the house. ;)

The Tudors was actually a production paid for by CBC, BBC and Showtime. It aired on all three of those networks. I am not sure what the order was, but I think the BBC had it first.

And Newsworld International was the international arm of the CBC (Canadian) Newsworld programs

Yes, and like all the other BBC C0-productions (Absolutely Fabulous, Nighty Night and many others) with US or Canada, they are in fact BRITISH born and conceived and British through and through and often make NO attempt to tailor them to the North American Market. The Beeb just takes their money and grants them rights for premier airings and subsequent airings for a limited period while the BBC's rights are pretty much UNLIMITED. Co-producer's have no contributions regarding content, and the Brits aren't seeking any as they are primarily for British consumption and those are the overriding concern as they will be often repeated in the UK for many years.

In fact, the new episodes of AbFab are airing on BOTH BBC America and Logo in the SAME WEEK. Edina makes her very British reference to Brixton leaving the poor yanks who paid for part of the production (in the past Comedy Central, then later Oxygen) clueless.

It is the same with Episodes: TOTALLY British writing and humor, not an ounce of Yankee overkill and lots of quiet awkward lingering situations while trying to maintain a polite demeanor, a clear violation, among others, of US TV comedy production rules of writing and performance that are SO BRITISH. Yeah, it is shot here and with Matt Leblanc, but it's British humor all the way.

I currently subscribe to America's Top 250 and I also have a week left on my free HBO and Cinemax. I am debating moving up to America's Everything Pak and I am trying to compare it to what I currently have. I thought the only difference between America's Top 250 and America's Everything Pak was that America's Everything Pak includes all the HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and Starz channels? Also, I thought that once I subscribe to America's Everything Pak I would have all Dish channels other than those $29.99 Adult channels, Playboy and some international stuff.
Didn't you ask the same question in a different thread you started last week, in which it was answered at that time?

Now that Dish has "International: News Pack", can we at least see BBC World News on this pack ?

Live Station finally started carrying BBC World News with three other channels in a premium pack.. Dish TV never understands its customers and carrying some channels to fill spots versus giving some channels that people are asking for. At least I feel I have an option now to watch BBC World News on the internet. Just posting this message may be to help others who have been asking for BBC World News for such a long time...
