I'm glad to start a conversation. I was really looking to get a recommendation based on viewing distance, not just bigger is better. I mean why not 200" but I only have a few foot tall space to mount a TV and it is only watched for maybe 2 hours per week so its going to be something that looks reasonable above a tall dresser, not butted up against a ceiling and not larger than the other TVs that are on several hours per day.

I do appreciate all of the responses and will likely get a 32"

If you have a large set in the living room, why not move it to the bedroom to try it out? Perhaps you will like it and keep it in the bedroom and get a bigger one for the living room...

I have a 50in plasma in my bedroom 15x15 room. I had a 40in in there previously and thought it was too small for viewing. The 50 is about right. Even if I only use it a few hours a week, prices are pretty low for anything 50 and smaller now. The 50 is as big as I could go with the room layout and still fit it on the wall between the door and closet door frames, when I got new furniture.
