Bell 9241 and Dish 622

Are these 2 the same receiver, if they are is there anyway I can convert my 622 to run a Bell sub?

no they are not interchangeable

The R& S#'s are pinged as Bell equipment and Bell will only activate their equipment. I tried to activate a Dish 301 as a Bell 3100 and they wouldnt
