has anyone seen any great benefits from the new ses2 87w satellite since it's been in place,i know i have and am somewhat satisfied because that is my favorite bird.;)

I've seen people say they can get NASA on a 90cm dish now. I tried it and I can't, so it doesn't benefit me at all. The old satellite had sufficient strength on Ku-band for me.

other than getting the 4080 RTV mux easier (which makes me lose other channels) it's no changes to me
Do see a few more feeds on there on KU

can't say about ku,my 39 inch dish is down right now,but will be back up soon....but 6footer is booming like never before on 87w.

From my perspective, especially relating to CBand, if i could only find that sat(tree leaves), that would be very beneficial to me. On my offset dish, that sat comes in fine, tho I haven't checked it for any new feeds lately.
