best c-band receiver

This gets asked many times, you must be more specific, HD or SD?

For SD many love the Traxis 3500 and the Fortec Dynamic, for HD the Coolsat 8100 and Digiwave 9000 are not bad.

The receiver doesn't care if it's C or KU band. The downconverted IF signal is at the same frequency for either band.

exactly if you already have a FTA receiver for ku you should be able to use it for c-band

yes I have A Coolsat 5000 And A new Fortec dynamic i was Just Wondering Was There a Receiver Just For c-band That Would Work better.

I use the 5000 for C-band and it works great

just make a satellite for each c-band just like it has for ku
then you don't have to change it in the setup all the time

Yes I Beleive The Coolsat Is Better Than The Fortec I will probaley sell the fortec.

you will have to have at least a 30" dish.

Hard to answer, when we don't know where you are, what kind of receiver, what kind of lnb, etc.. etc..... And adding to what "rodder" said, don't waste your time with that small 18" dish.
