I've been doing some research on adding an EHD to my 722. I want to get one with a 1 TB capacity and I've only really looked at Western Digital models so far. Does anyone have any experience with either of these 1 TB My Book Essential models?
It seems like the first one is the older version of that model, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on picking one over the other...I noticed that the second one has backup software pre-installed that may not be able to be removed, so I wasn't sure if that created any issues when the 722 reformats it.
If there are any other drives that are generally considered to be good quality, please let me know....I appreciate any input you guys have!
