They might have been doing upgrades yesterday. The whole DNS was hacked the previous day (not just the bits).

Yeah, a VERY low key posting from Bill today. No mention of anything untoward--which I find curious. Was he unaware that others about the web were suspecting the worst AND talking about it...you'd think he'd address it, even with a short 'didn't happen that way folks.'
