Then you need to get the program Satfinder: http://www.arachnoid.com/satfinder/ This will tell you the aiming angles for your area. Then you can see how many satellites are blocked.

B brandon Well-Known SatelliteGuys Member Jul 9, 2005 27 0 The Inland Empire Sep 3, 2005 #4 I have a blocked view to the west due to the roofline and chimney but I can still get most sats. Being on the west coast helps too since there isn't a whole lot further west of me that I can pick up.
