Wow, a figure more irrelevant than the BD vs HDDVD ratio. This would be an amazing number even if home media was down 20% instead of up 1%. The run on Warner Titles after they went HDDVD only... the number of releases was surely much greater than the year before... so many things make this an easy sensationalist headline for the Blu camp.
Since they're doing so well, they shjould drop the media prices, and then we'll show them a real increase in sales. Sick of watching for sales to buy movies. Give me a $20 deal on release week or something.
