Now that the war is over, I wonder if anyone can comment the sale and status of Blu-Ray DVD at other countries outside US? Just like the DVD today, I know Blu-Ray also have region codes built-in to protect their regional sales. Are there any All region Blu-Ray DVD players out there today?

The PS3 is rumored to in fact be region-free, but I don't think it is supposed to be.

BTW, the entire rest of the world went overwhelmingly Blu-ray before the U.S. did. Japan over 90%, Australia almost as high, Europe 70%-80% and climbing rapidly. the U.S. only represented about half the market to date. Some HD DVD aficionados claimed that the rest of the world didn't matter, once the U.S. went HD DVD they'd all fall into line behind us.
