I have seen that he is in Hospice now, but can't find anything on his death.

Bob Feller is not only the greatest Cleveland Indians player, he has been our team's greatest ambassador. Never forget he gave up four years of his career to fight in WWII. He was the first major leaguer to volunteer for active duty on December 8th, 1941, the day after Pearl Harbor was attacked. A man deserving of being called a legend. My thoughts are with Rapid Robert and the Feller family!

I heard on local radio here in CT this morning, but I can't find anything official. I did see it on another forum, but like I said, nothing official. Sorry if I posted it incorrectly.

The on air announcement I heard this morning on WTIC by Scott Gray also appeared on the WTIC website until around 6PM or so. It has been pulled, so obviously the information is wrong. How someone could go on air with a column like that without being sure of the facts is beyond me. Again, I am sorry for the original post. I feel like a dope.
