I'm not sure if this is considered a CE feature or not, but figured I'd start here.

I'm having problem with the boolean search feature on my HR23. I'm trying to record all of the Royals (I know...) games on FSNKC-HD, which is channel 672-1, but can't get it to work properly.

Here's what I've typed:
AANY royals CCHAN 672
AALL royals CCHAN 672
AANY royals CCHAN 672-1
AANY royals CCHAN 672 673

None work. They all return games on multiple channels, some of which are MLB/EI channels, and I don't get them.

This is extremely frustrating. We've got the best search capabilities, but I end up having to go through and manually record every game.

Has anyone had any luck using the CCHAN keyword?

Thanks,
Doug

Try these:

Royals CCHAN 672 673 (select category: High-Def and AutoRecord for recording live games in HD; don't forget to add additional time to stop time)

or try..

AALL Royals TTITLE CCHAN 672 673 (select category: High-Def and AutoRecord for recording live games in HD; don't forget to add additional time to stop time)

These searches work with current CE and should also work with NR.

Thanks armchair, they DO work with the CE, but not with the national release. For some reason, the channel limits don't work. Fortunately, I've got the CE, and all is well now!

Thanks,
Doug

I do remember hearing that CCHAN was broken in the NR now that you mention it.

With the addition of Common Sense Media Parental guide info along with fixes for CCHAN and remote control channel changing, this Customer Candidate may make a welcomed NR SOON!
