Boredom in Dish forum

While we are all exited to receive the new software update, there is a lot of boredom going on elsewhere.

Yup Dish is stale at the moment, no major software ugrades expected until late Auguest or early September.

DirecTV is also stale, but things will pick up when they announce their new Sky Software based DVR's in a few weeks. (Say goodbye Tivo)

Ive also heard Dish is now putting 3 HD channels on one transponder. Wont that erode their PQ?

I'm bored over at the Dish Forum too. I'm gonna hang out here for a while. It more exiting over here anyway.

I like how the May Tech Forum promised all kinds of software features to come, and none of them really have. What a bummer.

The PQ doesn't look like it was impacted by the 3 HD channels per TP move.

Nope PQ is the same if it wasnt you would be hearing an uproar, that is the beauty of 8PSK.
