I just bought a Panasonic 53" HDTV. I also bought the 6000u. I saw it at my in-laws house and fell in love with it (TV). I got it for $1400. What do you think about the set?

WOW!

I just got my 6000u and my digital locals(OTA). WOW! I got a panasonic 53"RPTV.

I have a Samsung DLP, and got a 6000u about a month ago. I agree, WOW!! describes the HD picture pretty well.

I'm having a hard time imagining that the 811 will be a substantial improvement....

The end result (the picture itself) will be identical to what you se now. The only advantages the 811 has is the better interace (OpenTV) and ability to store guide info in memory.
