Box or Motor

Much to my frustration, my system seems to "forget" where the satellites are. I fisrt set everything using USALS, and it worked fine - for two or three days. Then, as USALS was no longer moving the dish, I switched to Diseqc only, storing the location of the sats manually. Well, every couple of days, these locations would be "forgotten"! It happened again today, and now neither under USALS nor under Diseqc can I store the location of the birds, as the dish will only move manually! What I'm wondering is whether this is a motor issue (SG9120) or a box issue - CS 8000 HD. I should say I had issues with the SV-4000 as well, which appear to be common to other users.
