I have dishnetwork, opened an account in USA and bring the equipment to the Dominican Rep.(works great). Anyone knows if is possible connect the internet, for use the broadband service. They will know where i am??? goteras99@hotmail.com

No. It is not possible. You need to find a local Internet service provider. You should also find a local provider for TV as Dish Network is not licensed to offer service in the Dominican Republic.

it will work if your isp shows usa or PR . What you could do is sub to a VPN so you will have a usa ip addy. We should all give you a standing ovation for subscribing to a pay tv service vs stealing it like most of the islands.

I've seen people on these boards advising canadians not to plug thier dish receivers into thier Internet connection, so I really don't think it's worth the risk.
