Buying TVs online...

YES! Open and examine, or no sig! I didn't go so far as to hook it up, but I made sure there was no obvious internal damage. And they carried it inside and placed it next to where I was to install it. But that's "white glove" treatment and may cost extra.

Well, got my Panasonic TH-50PZ77U yesterday and getting DirecTV HD installed as I type. I was pretty nervous (obviously) about the whole buying online thing but it's seemed to have worked out well. And I paid less than 500 dollars what BB/Circuit City was charging.

Thanks for all the help.

After much research I bought my 61" Sammy through Vann's in Montana - Being from Ohio I was really stressed about having such a big purchase coming accross country but it arrived in perfect shape, I was able to track the shipment all the way, and the shipper contacted me with an exact delivery date and time.
Vann's had a fantastic price - free shipping - threw in the deluxe matching stand for 1/2 price and their sales and customer service personell were excellent.
Highly recommended!
