Buzzr TV on the air

KTVU, the Fox O&O, in Oakland, started broadcasting on sub-channel 2.3 this evening.

This is supposed to be the Buzzr TV network of game shows, from what I've read, but right now they're showing a Robert Redford movie. We'll have to wait and see what develops.

The station is transmitting a 4:3, 480i picture, but all of the actors look skinny. I had to stretch it to 16:9 to get the proper aspect ratio. Hopefully they'll make appropriate adjustments in the days to come.

Yup, instead of Buzzr TV it's "Movies!".

KTVU has fixed the aspect ration on their new 2.3 Movies! channel and is now 480i 16:9.

Any sign of Buzzr turning up on any FTA C-band receivers out there yet?

I'm guessing it will appear with the mux at 97, with Justice, Escape, Grit, Laff, etc...

I know, I was expecting they might be in some sort of "test mode" before launch
