C-Band Dish surge suppressor

Digging thru some odds and ends I came across a Surge Suppressor for a satellite dish. The motor circuit, three wire position sensor and a polarotor control wires all connect to the device and then to the receiver. I wonder if they were effective.

Wow! Haven't seen one of those in years. Museum quality! Never saw one installed in the wild. Hope someone has more knowledge than my experience with catalog viewing.

If you want to find out give it to me! LOL I live in the middle of the desert and during monsoon season, my antenna had a near hit. Do they still make those and where can you find one?

Interesting, the eBay description says they were used on Dish Network equipment long ago and cost $100 back then.

I have read some crazy item descriptions on EBay that pointed to the seller having zero clue to what they were selling.

Wonder if the seller has the matching Dish Network 10' C-band dish? LOL!!!
