I've got a new Directv install. One Genie DVR and one Genie Mini which is the C41 version. The main Genie is fine in how it treats resolution on my 4k TV. Thus, it never stutters when I change a channel and maintains the resolution and I have auto native turned off.
However, on the Genie mini connected to a Sony plasma, everytime I switch a channel, I get the annoying resolution change on the TV where the TV screen goes black for a few seconds and the TV banner comes up showing resolution. It is very annoying. I have it set to display only 720p which is all that the TV can display. I have turned native off. I've turned it on and it is the same problem.
