Cable box turns itself off

I have a TWC box hooked up to a Tivo and have had it that way for over a year. Recently, the cable box keeps turning itself off randomly. I tried resetting the cable box, but no luck, it still keeps happening, so I randomly end up recording nothing, because there is no signal coming in. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this or do I have to have TWC replace the box?

Without knowing the box model we can't tell if there's some kind of auto-off feature, but it sounds like you should just replace the box. There's so many faulty cable boxes out there you could cover the planet a few times around it seems.
