Cablevision DVR not recording scheduled shows

My Cablevision DVR didn't record the 9 pm shows Thursday night, even though it said they were scheduled. But it recorded the 10 pm shows just fine. Does anyone have any idea how to make the DVR record shows that it says are scheduled but are not recording? When I tried to record them manually, it told me there were 2 shows already scheduled.
 
There is a flag that every Show carries that determines whether a customer can record it or not. That flag may not have been set to allow you to record. An other possibility is that the show that you attempted to record was a rerun and you specified that you wanted to record first-run show only.
 
I've recorded both shows before, so I must be allowed to. And both were first-runs.

It all depends if the record-flag was setup correctly. Sometimes, the flag says that a new show is a rerun. To prevent that from preventing you to record, set your DVR to record the show: 'On this channel this day on this time slot'
