If you connect to both phone and broadband, will CID still work or not? And, can you even be connected to both?

It should work. I had them both connected and CID always worked on the 622/722 receivers.

It will work on a 622 and a 722k.

I have both my ViP722 units connected to both, and Caller ID works just fine. Two rings.

My 722 CID works just fine connected both ways....

Both connected to all my DVR's listed. CID works on all of them.

I found out that as long as all receivers are on DishCOMM , I have 4 vip's, you only need one to have a phone line for all to display CID.
