Can you confirm, please ?

I am trying to get the nets on Galaxy 16 (99 W), tp 13 3950 H 122296 - ?. If I read lyngsat correctly, these are digital, clear signals. But my software client (Linux/MythTV) detect encryped ones. Are they really clear ?

On another thread one speaks of G4 for FTA; where is it located ? I cannot find it.

g4 is the old name for g16. The nets are there and in the clear, they show up as scambled on my recievers also.

You have your signal rate wrong, it's 12298. Unless that's a "TYPO with an extra 2" and then it's probably OK. The mux is there, I'm watching it as I type. Do you have your polarity correct?

Do you have a C-band dish? These are C-band signals, a ku dish won't get them. You need at least a 6' dish for reliable signals.

So I'll continue my investigation further. Yes I have a C band lnb and 10' BUD (see my sig) and the signal is coming strong (Signal 96 %, S/N 77) and locked.
So it seems to be a software problem.

Getting 61%sig, 85%quality on the Dvbworld box with my 8' with a 15degree Lnb...and mid to high 90's with coolsat...
