can you hide duplicate channels with comcast?

Am thinking of going back to comcast (CT) and I remember from when I had them before and from their channel guide on line, that the NY channels are in HD but CT chs. are still in SD (go figure, in the nYC market). So for example the line up has the SD chs. in the low number range 2-61 and HD is 1002-1061 I believe.
Do anyone know if you can hide the lower ranged Sd chs. or can you can the position of the HD chs.?

You can set the guide on the X1 to HD Channels only.

Push the guide button on your remote, when the guide comes up on your screen push the guide button again, then the option shows up.
