Can you use the slingplayer app for Ipad/Iphone to access a 922?

I have looked repeatedly and can't find the answer to this question. Can you use the dedicated sling player app for Iphone/Ipad to access a Dish 922? or can you only access the 922 via the DishRemote app?

If you can use the Iphone/Ipad app, how do you set it up? It doesn't look like the ID fields on the slingplayer apps will jibe with finder ID's on the 922.

Yes you can.. but why spend the $30 on the app when you can download the Dish Remote Access App for the Ipad (or iPhone) for free and it has the Sling technology built in so that you can watch your 922.

Agree. The free app is great. I'm VERY surprised that it is free. But I guess it has to be with the other companies (Comcast and others) offering a free scheduling app.

Still can't get my iphone to see it with the Slingplayer mobile app. Just interested to see if I can hook up to it this way instead of via DishRemote
