Cancelling service?

Just curious, if I cancel my service with the 722k, and decide to come back can I still reactive it on my account? Or does Dish have a vacation option, like some providers, to temporally suspend service?

The best option to keep your 722K active would be our DISH Pause program. It allows you to suspend your services for 3, 6, or 9 months at a time for only $5+taxes a month. The Pause can be set up immediately or set up for a future date, depending on your needs. What if he tells them the receiver is installed on the roof?

Isn't the problem that they won't activate 722s on new accounts anymore, not that they will take the receiver?

They don’t want that receiver back anyway. It’s obsolete and because of that if he cancels service it can’t be reinitiated.
