Cannot buy from VE if you live in Phoenix?

I called Value Electronics today to inquire about ordering one of the new LG 62" DLP's and was told that they could not sell to me because I live in Phoenix!

Maybe there is some state restriction here?

It is disappointing because none of the LG retailers in this area carry the new DLP models yet.

The first thought that popped into my head as to why they wouldn't sell to Phoenix is because of the heat we are getting for the next 4 or 5 months. Give 'em a call back and find out if you can order when the temps cool down.
