Has anyone expiernced the following problem with their 6000 receiver?
I am wanting to do some individual channel locking, but when I access the channel locking menu it blanks out and the "aquiring satellite" screen appears for about 30 seconds and then I am returned to the channel I was watching prior to selecting the channel locking menu option.
When I reset to "default", the channel locking menu option seems to work, and by doing so I do know and have lost all my OTA channels and personal Favorites List I previously entered. Because I lost the OTA and my personal Favorites List, I then re-entered this information again. After entering this information I went back to the channel locking menu screen and again received the "aquiring satellite" screen. Not that this is real important, but I would like to activate this feature. Does anyone know whether or not this is a software bug? My current software version is 781.
