Cannot format Maxtor to fat 32

would anyone know how to format a hard drive to a fat 32 file with a computer that is running windows Vista.

FWIW..... I recently had to do this BUT I used my Maxtor 500GB external hard drive with my new DVR.... IF & IF by chance you WILL be using the hard drive with a DVR unit, check the menu options in the receiver to do the reformat for you.
