can't record entire event 722k

Hi all,
I have a 722k DVR and while I'm watching a show, if I hit the record button and goto options, I want to be able to select the option at the bottom that says "record entire event". However, every time go there that option is grayed out. I am in dual mode. Any ideas why the "record entire event" option is always grayed out even if i've been watching the program for a while so I know the show is in the buffer.

You need to be watching from the beginning of the program. To record what is in the buffer pause, backup as far as you can, then hit record.
