Captioning on Bravo HD ??

As far as I can tell, there are no English subtitles available for all those great operas shown on Bravo HD. The sound and PQ are excellent. Now, if we could only figure out what everybody is saying....

Do you know if this is a problem on VOOM's end? On Bravo HD's end? Or something I can do?

I emailed VOOM and Bravo months ago about this. Never heard back from either.

My guess is that Bravo has to pass the subtitles...

Yea, most broadcasts of HD don't provide CC. I know on each and every one of HBO, showtime, and locals that show an HD program it states it at the bottom of the screen just prior to the show starting.

Seems I remember a thread about this ages ago -- like in March or April. HD broadcasts still don't have CC? What's up?
