CBC is a canadian channel. I live in pittsburgh pa and have directv. i've heard that if you buy an expressvu dish and hook it up, you'll get this canadian channel on directv. Is this true?

No. You need Expressvu or Starchoice to get CBC unless you live close enough to the border to get it OTA. Some cable systems get it, but they operate under a different set of rules.
