CBS interruptions SOLID BRIGHT YELLOW screen

For months I've been experiencing occasional interruptions when viewing CBS programs from PrimeTime.

It goes from the program -- > solid bright yellow screen lasting many seconds or even a minute -- > blank gray screen -- > back to program in progress.
It only happens on CBS and only noticed so far on PrimeTime recordings.

Any idea what could cause this?

The bright yellow screen is usually when the signal from the local station to DISH is interrupted. By this I don’t mean the uplink/downlink, I mean the actual signal from the station and it is always a station issue.

We have the same issue with our ABC affiliate. Been going on for years.

Most MVPDs (not just Dish) are going to pick up the signal OTA. I'm sure there are exceptions with some picking up via fiber. If the signal is going out regularly, it's probably post pick up. Check your other locals at the same time. Are they out? If so, then it's probably an issue with the feed from the pickup point to Dish. No station is going to let their OTA signal continue to cut in and out.
