Help, from Dallas,TX
I have had 2 receivers previous, that had worked OK.
Dish is approx., 36 Inches. Receiver is Captive works CW-650S. I receive scrambled, test pattern. Looking for Compas direction, elevation, frequency, transponder, Symbol and any thing that will help. I have searched several web sites and have found several answers that did not work. Is it Testar 5 or IA5 or Galaxy 25

Thank You wejones

Is it Testar 5 or IA5 or Galaxy 25
All of the above, the names change often, it's Galaxy 19 now.
Just remember the orbital location - 97west

Did you enter the correct LNB settings?
Should be a label on the LNB. Look for "L.O." number.
Are you using a motor?
Any switches?

For Non-Motorized:
Dish Elevation: 51.9°
Azimuth (mag.): 176.0° using Compass

In the Receiver's Setup Menu, look for this Transponder:
Freq: 11836
Polarity: Vertical
Scan Rate: 20765
