We have been on Centurylink DSL for about 3 years now, the first 2 yrs on a 768k down/128k up plan and the last year or so on 1.5 down/256k up, and had no idea this policy was in place.

Don't know how much bw we use but higher amounts are not available here and we have never heard from them about excessive usage.

Any way you can tell how much bandwith you are using?

We have several computers and other stuff eating at our bandwidth. Found out recently that my router using dd-wrt actually keeps tabs on the total traffic. Here is a screen shot of it. Kind of nice being able to monitor it. I'm sure there is other ways also.
