Pansonic, long known as the plasma company, is entering the higher end LED/LCD market. It will be introducing the DT50/WT50 line. Unlike its newer, lower-end line, it will incorporate active 3D technology with "1920" backlight scanning, which will divide the screen into 8 sections. The WT50 boasts a sleeker look, similar to the plasma line, and comes with a touch pad remote. Both lines will be available in 47 and 55 inches.

Panasonic DT50/WT50 LED series features:

Cloud-based Viera Connect system
1920 backlight system
3D-compatible
Onboard Wi-Fi
Four HDMI inputs
Touch pad remote controller WT50
