Change in channel mapping on R15?

Is there any special reason that the channel mapping on the R15 has gone from XXXX to XXX-XX?

As a result of the remapping, Channel 1000 has gone away...

The reason why channel 1000 has gone away is that Directv has started using the Showcases tab in the My vod Menu. The First thing they put in showcases was the video that was on channel 1000 and then early this morning that put on the CD USA that was on yesterday.
