I am no stranger to dish pointing. I am also a c band free to air guy. I just installed an EA Lnbf on my 1000.4. I have 72w coming in well. When I switch to 61.5, it lights up green on the signal indicator, then says "wrong sat" turns red and identifies the satellite as 72w?

How can both lnbs be getting 72w? Zip code 25702 , pole is plumb, elevation 44 , skew 78.

When it switches like that, it is not necessarily seeing that satellite from that position, but trying to be "normal". What is your zip code, and current pointing angles? Sounds like you are off by a couple degrees.

Am I imagining things or does the picture resolution on the EA look sharper than the WA? Are they using more bandwidth for the EA broadcasts?
