Changing Dish's, will locals be lost?

My uncle has Dish coming today to change out his dish to 1000.4 so he can receive the new HD channels. He currently has 110/119/61.5. His HD locals are on 61.5, so I now he won't lose them. But his SD locals are on 110. He has a second SD only receiver in the bedroom. So will he lose his locals for the bedroom?

He should contact DISH. I have heard of people on this board who were given new VIP receivers for free when they did the upgrade.

I got a 612 at no charge for the bedroom when we did this upgrade, but signed a 2 year commitment

Yep you should let them know that you have SD in the bedroom.
