Channels changing without my input?

Hi!

Ok I recently had a VIP 612 added to my account. The past couple of nights the Wife and I will be watching tv and right in the middle of a show the channel will change to something else. Sometimes it will change to a channel we do not even subscribe to such as HBO. Then of couse we get the 'you must subscribe blah blah blah' message.

I'm starting to think that the family next door has a Dish remote and while surfing the channels my box is picking up their inputs.

Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix this? I thought I'd ask here before calling Dish.

This is killing us though because if the program is not being recorded or already recorded then you miss part of your show before getting back to it.

Any help at all is appreciated.

Same thing happened to me. The first day my neighbor got dish he was changing my channels. I had to change the remote code on my box.
