Charlotte NC locals in HD?

I am new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone knew if Charlotte NC is getting the locals in HD from D*. I called and the CSR said it wasnt at first and when I asked her to double check, she said it was available. Obviously, I can't trust her. Just wondering if anyone out there was in this area and had the locals in HD. Thanks.

Check the previous threads; they are available in OTA depending on you distance.

Thanks for the links. I realise that they are out there OTA, but I was mostly concerned about D* offering them via satellite, as I am not in a great area for OTA reception.

What is you zip code, that will go a long way to determine both.

Well with 28150 you seem to be in DMA #27 "CHARLOTTE" when reading those other threads, so you will be offered HD LIL service when its turned on soon

Also, at under 70 miles max (I am sure there is some "hilly" terrain) but with the correct antenna setup you should be able to pick up most, if not all, of those OTA as well.
