Check Switch Error

When I perform a check switch.... it detects the switch but no satellites are detected and it says "switch error". What does this mean?

Basicly the receiver is seeing a switch but no signal from that switch. It probably means the dish isn't aimed correctly.

Where are you - is there snow on the dish? Moose in front of it? You get the idea, is anything blocking the dish?
