Check Switch Problem ===New 1000.4 eastern arc

I am currently on a 1000 ==110,129-119 , I bought a new 1000.4 eastern arc so that I could get my hd locals . I have been testing it stays in the test switch screen a very long time and does not seem to come out of the test . At least 30 minutes . Do you have to do something different to switch a reciever over to different sats or do I have a bad LNB ?

Does it do anything? It should, at the very least, go to 1 of 38 tests after you run the test. What kind of receiver, and was it working normally prior to you replacing the lnb? How did you re-aim the dish and make sure you're on the right satellites?

Also, if you had the 1000.2 reflector and simply swapped the 1000.4 lnb on, you won't pick up all the satellites you need. The 1000.4 reflector is larger than the 1000.2.

What sat are your locals on. You didn't sy where you are located. If they are on the eastern arc, your dish needs to be repointed and possible a new lnb. Have you gone to point dish? If sp, what sat's does it lock on to?
