Closed Caption concerns

I don't mean to bash Dish but I was with Direct for the two years preceding switching to Dish in Jan of this year and it was far superior in delivering CC. I just don't understand that as the same technology should be available to both services.

Neither does everybody else. Dish's implementation of CC is an abomination and borderline illegal.

If Dish would clean up the lingering caption display and offer a one-button on-off control, then this would be as good as I've seen, from Dish. The 921 had lots of fonts with edge options, most illegible, but had so many other problems that I sure wish I hadn't paid nearly $1000 for it, back when I had an income.

I think you thawed that crow out a bit too early.
