Comet is the last remaining channel, in my area, that has reliably good movies.
Comet will often feature a good, recent enough, movie.
How did we get here?
ThisTV, which was one of the few channels to still feature recent enough good movies, has ended in my area, and seems to have stopped playing movies where the channel still broadcasts.
Escape TV, which only aired good movies for a few years, also stopped broadcasting.
Just a handful of years ago, a channel called MyNetworkTV would air The Walking Dead episodes. Something like that would be unheard of today.
Even Circle, which recently went off the air, would show a good movie every now and then.
There is still a Movies! channel. However, the movies are all from very long ago. Sometimes something good will be on Movies!, however, it is not that often, in my opinion. I rarely see Movies! playing something recent enough.
