KCTV, Ch. 5.3 has switched from This TV to Start TV

I noticed it this morning (3/5/2024) when I was flipping around through the channels on one of my TV's. This leaves KCKS-LD & KMJC-LD, Ch. 25.11 as the only channels still carrying This TV in the immediate Kansas City, MO.

Good, because when Byron Allen bought ThisTv, he turned it into pure crap. There's absolutely NOTHING left on it that's worth watching. No movies, and mostly trash programming.

It did go downhill pretty fast.

I'm guessing that either the contract with MGM ran out, or it was terminated by Byron Allen.

I wish KCTV would get rid of most of their sub channels and go back to only having one or two, and then their main feed 13 or 15 mbps.

Oh my gosh! ThisTV had so many good movies on! Now, the only two channels I like are Comet and H&I.

The movie contract wasn’t included as part of the sale. With stations dropping ThisTV the station is probably going to close up shop.
