Coming on over, need some info

Okay Im finally ready to come over to D. I have some questions Im hoping you can help me with
1.What is the exact size of the hard drive in the HR24? My 722 has a 500gb
2.Can you send recordings to a external hard drive like you can with E? Can you record directly to a external hard drive? I have seen various answers about this and would like some clarification.
3.If I do MVR with the Dish Cinema what are my chances of ending up with a HR24 if I set up service through D's website?

Okay so it looks like the HR24 has a 500 gb hard drive as well. One other thing I forgot to ask was if the HR24 came with a RF remote or not? Thanks again

HR24 has a 500GB hard drive
If you connect an external drive it replaces the internal. It's not an "AND" situation as with Dish. It's an "Either/OR". You will only see the external when you have it hooked up and you won't see the internal.
Best bet for ensuring an HR24 is to deal with a local installer. Otherwise I am told that if you specify you want Whole Home DVR and Connected Home, your likelihood of getting the HR24 is nearly certain. "Nearly" didn't quite cut it for me. I used a local installer and tehy were great. And I got all the deals and promos being offered on the web site.

HR24 can do RF or IR. Remote gets set for one or the other.
